Patrimonial real estate
Acquiring a property in France
The Office accompanies buyers, whether private individuals or investors, in securing their real estate project. Preliminary review, negotiation, financing, signature: we are at your side at each stage.
A project that prepares before signature
Acquiring a property deserves a preliminary analysis that the urgency of transactions tends to compress. Ownership in your own name or through a company, matrimonial regime, source of financing, prospects for future sale: these arbitrations are conducted upstream.
For international buyers, we manage the dual layer of French and foreign law: choice of acquisition vehicle, currency-related precautions, future inheritance planning (European Regulation 650/2012), interaction with applicable tax treaties.
Four key stages
- Preliminary review. Choice of the holding structure (own name, SCI, dismemberment), tax arbitrations, calendar.
- Promesse or compromis. Critical review, negotiation of suspensive conditions, secured deposit.
- Intermediate phase. Follow-up of the mortgage offer, suspensive conditions, diagnostics and any pre-emption rights.
- Authentic deed. Signature, publication at the land registry, handing-over of keys.
